The Sailors opened the season by going 1-4 at the Grand Haven Early Season Tournament. Shores lost all three matches in pool play to Mattawan, Jenison, and West Ottawa. Then, after being placed in the Silver Bracket, Shores beat Petoskey before losing again to Mattawan in the championship match. On the day, The Sailors were led by Ava Dunn with 25 kills and 11 blocks; Grace Norris with 39 assists, 12 kills, and 6 blocks; Ali Trautner with 37 digs and 6 kills; Holli Brus with 27 digs; and Kyann Hellmann had 23 assists. Record: 1-4
