At Ottawa Hills Invite. Lady Turtles has a Record- Setting Day!  Despite swimming with many teammates missing the Lady Turtles sawm to a season- high 24 Personal Record Swims – 1 Meet Record-4 MISCA Cut Times – 2 Div. 1 State Cuts and brought home several medals in the process.

Medal Winners for the Turtles were 200 Medley Relay 5^th 1:59.52 (Delaney Buckner-Naomi Huttenga-Robyn Hunt-Sydney Sytsema) MISCA Cut/Season Best Swim.  Delaney Buckner 1^st in 100 Fly 1:00.16 Meet Record-MISC Cut-Div. 1 State Cut and 1^st in the 100 Back 1:00.69 MISCA /Div. 1 State Cut. 200 Free Relay 2^nd (Sydney Sytsema-Robyn Hunt-Naomi Huttenga-Delaney Buckner) 1:47.31 MISCA Cut and Season Best time.  Sydney Sytsema 3^rd in the 50 Free 26.51 and 3^rd in the 100 Free 59.07.  Robyn Hunt 5^th in the 500 Free 5:46.77 with Season Best Swim.  The 400 Free Relay 6^th (Isabella DeJonge-Susie Van Baale-Sophia Zziwambazza-Eva Stout) 4:24.76 Season Best Swim.

After a great week of training hard the work hard is starting to pay off. I was very happy with everyone’s performance whether we had a PR-Season Best Swim or close to those goals we swam very well Saturday!!  Love to see the improvements and adjustment made during races. I also love how swim swam with more heart and hunger!! Great Job Ladies!!!! Coaches are Proud of you all!!!

Huge Shout Out to our parents who made the trip over to GR to cheer us on! Thank you!  It means a lot to your swimmers/divers to see our fans in the stands cheering for them.
