The Sailors picked up two ties and a win at Portage Central, and sophomore Drew Hackney remained undefeated. Shores, now 1-1-2 on the season, tied Byron Center 4-4. Shores won two singles and two doubles matches. Hackney (No. 1 singles) and Jace Brainard (No. 3) picked up wins as did the doubles teams of seniors Bobby Wasserman/Luke Uptigrove (No. 2) and senior Sam Uptigrove/junior Tommy Stewart (No. 3). In the 6-2 win over Mason, the Sailors won three singles and three doubles matches to gain its first win of the season. Hackney (No. 1 singles), senior Kayden Hellmann (No. 2) and sophomore Victor Powell (No. 4) won at singles while Wasserman/L. Uptigrove (No. 2 doubles ), S. Uptigrove/Stewart (No. 3) and sophomores Liam Gossett/Josiah Bement (No. 4) won at doubles. Shores also tied Portage Central 4-4. Shores swept the singles with Hackney (No. 1 singles), Hellmann (No. 2), Brainard (No. 3), and Powell (No. 4) picking up wins.
