2022 Lady Turtles Swim/Dive Meet Report

Lady Turtles swim through pain-sickness and distractions to have an awesome and successful OK Rainbow Tier 1 Conference Swim/Dive Meet.  The Lady Turtles swim /dive strong to finish 5^th in the conference with 253 points. It was a total TEAM Effort from everyone involved with the team. (Swimmers-Divers-Coaches -Parents/Family-Co-op Schools Support). I am so PROUD of these young ladies for the way they stuck together, pushed each other, and cheer each other on. I also was very happy with the way we battled to the end in every race.  The hard work, dedication, and heart paid off with many Personal Records-Season Best Times and several medal winners. They truly left it all in the pool this weekend and can hold their heads high for a job well done!  “No Doubts-No Limits” “Turtles”

The Turtles swam/dove to a two-day total of 38 Personal Records-50+ Season Best Times-3 All-Conference Swimmers-2 MHSAA D1 State Cuts-Several Top 16 Swims/Dives-and many medal winners.  

The Turtles were led by All-Conference Swimmers Delaney Buckner (Conference Champion in the 100Fly59.27 5977/100Back) State Cuts-Robyn Hunt (6^th 100Fly 1:05.44/-2^nd 500 Free 5:36.86)-Sydney Sytsema (4^th 50 Free 25.99/ 4^th 100Free 58.19).  Susie Van Baale was 6^th in the 100 Breaststroke 1:15.84 Personal Record Swim.  Relays also play a big part in our Team's success.  200 Medley Relay (Buckner-Huttenga-Hunt-Sytsema) 2^nd 1:56.25 Season Best Time -200 Free Relay (Sytsema-Huttenga-Hunt-Buckner) 4^th 1:45.95 Season Best Time-400 Free Relay (Stout-Eenigenburg-Van Baale-Gaston) 6^th 4:09.10 Season Best Time.

Huge Thank You to all the Turtle Swim Parents-Family and Friends for coming and supporting the Team!  It was great to see you all cheering the Team on from a very hot and crowded bleacher area!!!  Thank you also for all your support throughout the season!!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!
