Taking on State Ranked (6th in D3) and having Senior Night at away pool has its challenges and rewards. A HUGE THANK YOU to Coach Eric Talsma and his Lady Hawkeyes Swim Team and Staff for allowing us the opportunity to honor our six Seniors last night due to us not having home this year due to pool issues. I very PROUD and /HONORED to be able to have coached these Amazing Young Ladies through the Good and Bad Times! They have accomplished many great things to date and will go on to do many more amazing and great things! I truly wish them all the best in their next adventures after graduation. After surviving COVID19 they can handle anything that comes their way! “No Doubts- No Limits”!
The Lady Turtles swam to 20 Personal Records, 2 D1 State Cut Times, and 1 New Team Record in a very tough meet filled with a lot of emotion and the start of a busy week filled with swim meets. The TEAM swam very well and held their own against a very talented deep Hamilton Team. The meet was a true test of where we are physically and mentally and what we will see in a few weeks at the OK Rainbow Tier 1 Conference Meet. I was proud of our effort and I know once we are fully rested and tapered, we will be ready bust out some amazing swims/dives!!
