The Lady Turtles swims past Fremont en route to a 54-24 Non -Conference Win. The Win moves the Lady Turtles to 4-4 Overall on the season. The Lady Turtles won 10 of 11 events and swept all three relays 200 Medley-200 Free and 400 Free Relays. They also finished 1-2 in all three of those relays! The TEAM swam to a Season High 32 Personal Record Swims!!
Tonight’s meet was a great chance to see the Team swim off events and see some new swimmers challenge themselves at longer events and different strokes. One example was to see four Freshmen swim the 500 Free in some pretty good times and see them push themselves and not quit. Another example was to see some upperclassmen swim to some Personal Record Swim for the first time in a few years. It was also great to see the Lady Turtles cheering for all their Teammates in every race. The Win helped build up some much-needed confidence boost and pride going into the last few dual meet of the season before the 2020 OK Rainbow Tier 1 Swim Conference Nov. 6-7.
Leading the way for the Lady Turtles were Evyn Johnson winning the 500 Free and 100 Back, Caroline Carlson winning the 200IM and 100 Free in Personal Record Swims. Also taking first was Olivia McKenna in the 100Fly, and Naomi Huttenga 100 Breast. Great Team Effort!!
